Vaccination Registered Nurse (RN) – Job Description

• Administer influenza, COVID-19, RSV, shingles, and other routine vaccines in accordance with CDC and state guidelines.
• Screen patients for eligibility, review medical history, allergies, and contraindications prior to vaccination.
• Educate patients on vaccine benefits, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate nursing care when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, follow infection control protocols, and ensure proper vaccine storage and handling.
• Requirements: Active State RN License in good standing (no disciplinary actions) and current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
